Marçal Müller does not want to think about the chance of becoming the Porsche Cup champion already this Sunday (6). The competitor prefers to think race by race and not have to worry about doing calculations.

The competitor of Porsche #544 started the weekend at Interlagos already on the right foot. Not only did he secure the double pole position of the Carrera Cup, but in race 1 he converted the honor position on the grid into a victory – due to the rain, the race had to be shortened to eight laps.
Therefore, with the result of the first contest, Marçal can already lift the trophy one stage ahead in the 2026 season. But to be honest, he is not thinking about that. “This is very new to me,” he said to F1MANIA.NET after race 1.

“I think, unfortunately, due to this accident, the championship got even more tangled. I haven’t done any calculations, I just got out of the car and I’m giving interviews, a lot of people telling me this, I don’t even know what points I need for this to happen,” he continued.
“But I will keep my head straight, focus on the championship and try to bring this title,” he added.
