Driver who will defend Rodin Motorsport in Formula 3, Pedro Clerot is ready for his debut in the category, scheduled for this weekend at the Albert Park circuit in Melbourne. The Australian double-header will mark the first time the Brazilian competes on street circuits, and the driver feels excited to start his journey in the new category, after two years in FRECA.

“I am excited and confident for this first round in Melbourne. I arrived last week, so I had time to adapt and also to enjoy it. It’s my first time on a street circuit, but it shouldn’t be that different for me. The track is technical, difficult, and any mistake can cost a lot. Before, I trained in a simulator and now I am already acclimated to the Australian time zone,” said Pedro Clerot, who is sponsored by Banco BRB.
The first champion in the history of F4 Brazil participated in February in the F3 collective testing session, held at the Barcelona Circuit in Spain. On that occasion, Clerot completed 190 laps over the three days of pre-season activities. In addition to Australia, the F3 calendar includes nine more rounds, ending in November at another urban layout, in Madrid, Spain.

Due to the time zone, the F3 schedule will begin on Thursday night in Brazil, with the first free practice session at 18h50. From 0h on Saturday, qualifying takes place, while on the same day, at 21h15, the Sprint race will be held. The main race is scheduled for 18h50 on Saturday. F1TV broadcasts the entire schedule live.
