Full Time Sports driver in NASCAR Brazil, Tito Giaffone had a challenging fifth championship stage in Cuiabá (MT). The owner of car number 15 achieved sixth place among the competitors in the Challenge category in the final stage of the race held on Saturday night (1) on the outer ring of the Mato Grosso International Autodrome, after recovering from an incident in the first phase of the contest.

Right at the start of the race, Tito went off the track and got stuck in the gravel. After managing to return to the track, the driver secured ninth place in his category in the initial segment in the Mato Grosso capital. In the final part, the driver, who is in his second year in NASCAR Brazil, showed good pace and crossed the finish line in sixth place in the Challenge, and 11th overall;
“Overall, it was a good learning stage. There is a lot for us to study to seek improvement for the next stages, starting with Londrina. Cuiabá was challenging for us. In the first stage, I was involved in an accident, spun, but managed to get back into the race. There was a lot of gravel on the car and, because of that, I couldn’t run at a good pace. In the final stage, yes, I had a good pace and finished sixth in the Challenge,” said Tito Giaffone.

With the results in Cuiabá, Tito Giaffone appears in fourth place in the Challenge category championship, totaling 113 points, with a campaign that includes one victory, in Interlagos, three podiums, and five finishes in the top five, as well as eight top-10s.
NASCAR Brazil continues the 2026 season on August 22 and 23, when it visits the Ayrton Senna International Autodrome in Londrina (PR) for the sixth stage of the year, and the penultimate before the start of the playoffs that will decide the title.
