NASCAR Brazil: Casagrande leads TL1 in Cascavel; top-10 within the same second

The first practice of the second stage of the 2026 NASCAR Brazil season took place on the afternoon of this Friday (1st), in Cascavel (PR), and had Gabriel Casagrande, from Vogel, in the lead with 1min09s735. The session was marked by the short difference between the top ten positions.

Ricardo Mauricio (Cavaleiro by Pole) repeated Ibiapina’s feat and was just 0s007 behind Costa. Right behind, in seventh, came Felipe Tozzo (Team RC), with 1min10s527. Rookie Murilo Rocha (Full Time) also showed pace and managed 1min10s536. The ninth best lap was by Cacá Bueno (Team RC), with 1min10s620. Juninho Berlanda (Vogel) closed the top 10 with 1min10s628.

NASCAR Brazil continues its activities at the Zilmar Beux Racetrack on Saturday, with the second free practice at 10:25 AM. Early in the afternoon, at 1:50 PM, qualifying takes place, which will have a sprint race. Later in the day, at 6:00 PM, the category holds the first race of the weekend, at sunset.
