Originally, the stage was intended as the championship opener. However, with the change in the category’s positioning, the official opening of the 2026 season will be held between April 11 and 12, in Santa Cruz do Sul (RS), without prejudice to drivers, teams, and the public. The change was made with the aim of expanding the reach and impact of the start of the season with the debut of the new car.

The Duels stage will have an extensive schedule, with a major highlight on Sunday: drivers will compete in initial five-lap battles, followed by direct duels, semifinals, and a three-lap final, in a model created to generate high-level direct disputes. The two finalists of The Clash will be awarded a trophy and medal, in addition to an extra “boost” for the first stage of the championship in April. Furthermore, the final order of the duel will define the starting order for the season opener qualifying, adding even more weight and strategy to the challenge.
