Brazilian driver competing in European motorsport, Matheus Ferreira contests this weekend the penultimate round of the 2026 German Porsche Cup season, scheduled for the 3,629-meter Nurburgring circuit. The double round opens a sequence of three race weekends in four weeks for the GP Elite team driver, who will follow the German event with the final two rounds of the Porsche Supercup.

Matheus is in a season where he has been accumulating wins, such as at the Barcelona round of the Porsche Sprint Challenge South Europe, and podiums both in the German Porsche Cup and the Porsche Supercup. This weekend, the owner of car number 27 aims to extend these achievements and fight for victory at the traditional German circuit.
“After a few days of vacation, we are back. Last week we had a test in Monza, where we will race for the Supercup, and this week we face the Nurburgring round of the German Porsche Cup. It was very good to enjoy some days off, but there is nothing better than getting back on track. We are going for a good result once again,” said Matheus Ferreira.

The weekend schedule will open on Thursday (13), with three test sessions. Friday will feature a free practice and the qualifying sessions for the double round. The races are scheduled for Saturday at 6:15 and Sunday at 6:05, both broadcast on YouTube.
