The only Brazilian on the Porsche Supercup grid, Matheus Ferreira competes this weekend in the fourth round of the 2026 season, scheduled for the Spa-Francorchamps circuit, as part of the Belgian GP Formula 1 program. The driver, who represents the GP Elite team, aims to continue progressing in his first year in the category and advance both in the Rookies classification and the overall standings.

The fast 7,004-meter track has already yielded good results for Matheus this season. It was at Spa that Matheus achieved one of his podiums this year racing in the German Porsche Cup, after crossing the finish line in third place. For this weekend, the Brazilian will fight for another positive result.
“We are in a new race week, now for the Porsche Supercup at Spa-Francorchamps. It couldn’t be in a better place. At the beginning of the year, we achieved a podium there, and now it’s time to return and seek a great result,” said Matheus Ferreira, who is in his second year racing in GTs.

The Porsche Supercup schedule will open this Friday (17) with the only free practice session of the weekend, while Saturday is reserved for qualifying, scheduled for 6:20 AM. The Spa-Francorchamps round starts at 6:45 AM on Sunday. F1TV broadcasts all activities live.
