The Argentine driver was the fastest in qualifying, recording 1min30s947 and finishing 0.230 seconds ahead of Joaquín Cafaro, who will complete the front row.

The first part of qualifying defined the 12 drivers who advanced to fight for pole position. Among the six eliminated were Juan Manuel Casella, Bruno Massa, Gabriel Moura, Gabryel Romano, Fabio Pezzini, and Enrique Maglione.
Thus, Girolami, Cafaro, Camilo Trappa, Leonel Pernía, Raphael Reis, Nelson Piquet Jr., Tiago Pernía, Juan Ángel Rosso, Enzo Gianfratti, Nicolás Fuca, Adrián Chiriano, and Fabián Yannantuoni moved on to Q2.

In the second part of qualifying, Girolami set the best time of the session and secured pole position for the Córdoba round. The Argentine recorded 1min30s947, while Cafaro took second place, 0.230 seconds behind the pole sitter.
Trappa completed the top 3 with a time of 1min31s264, 0.317 seconds behind Girolami. Leonel Pernía was fourth with 1min31s387, followed by Raphael Reis, who clocked 1min31s406.

Nelson Piquet Jr. finished qualifying in sixth place with 1min31s739, while Tiago Pernía was seventh with 1min31s743. Juan Ángel Rosso was eighth, recording 1min32s239.
Enzo Gianfratti secured ninth position with 1min32s896, followed by Nicolás Fuca, who posted 1min33s003. Adrián Chiriano was 11th with 1min33s006, while Fabián Yannantuoni completed the Q2 group in 12th place with 1min33s244.
The two races of the sixth round will be held on Sunday, August 23. Race 1 is scheduled for 10:13 and will last 25 minutes plus one lap.
After the activities of the other categories, the TCR returns to the track for the second race, with the start of Race 2 scheduled for 13:10.
