The third stage of the Porsche Cup Brasil promises to go down in the history of the category. Between June 10 and 13, the championship lands in Le Mans, France, to be part of the traditional 24 Hours of Le Mans program, one of the most emblematic races in world motorsport. Among the drivers on the Carrera Cup grid, one of the names arriving with a differentiated background for the challenge is the Santa Catarina native Jeff Giassi.

While most competitors will have their first contact with the legendary Circuit de la Sarthe, Giassi carries experience built over years in virtual motorsport. A participant in several online championships, the driver has accumulated countless laps on the French track, known for its long straights, high-speed corners, and the unique combination of permanent sections and roads closed especially for the race.
This familiarity with the circuit may represent an important advantage in a stage that will require quick adaptation from the competitors. Even so, Giassi emphasizes that experience in simulators is just a starting point for the work that will be developed on the track.

“Le Mans is a circuit that has always been present in the life of anyone who likes motorsport, whether following the races or competing in simulators. I had the opportunity to compete in many virtual races there over the years, and that certainly helps to know the layout, braking points, and the rhythm of each sector. But being on the real track is a completely different experience. I have been preparing a lot, studying data, videos, and intensifying training to arrive as prepared as possible. The expectation is huge because racing at Le Mans is something special for any driver, and being part of this moment of the Porsche Cup Brasil makes everything even more remarkable,” Giassi highlighted.
