Driver defending AMattheis Vogel in NASCAR Brazil, Gabriel Casagrande secured a podium in the fourth round of the 2026 season, held at Velocitta, a racetrack located in Mogi Guaçu (SP). The driver of car number 83 crossed the finish line in second place in the race that opened the round, in which he showed good performance throughout.

Casagrande fought for the victory for practically the entire race that opened the double round, but was overtaken on the final lap, finishing in second place. In the afternoon race, the Paraná native was also in contention for the win, taking second place with a double overtake on the penultimate lap. Moments later, Gabriel suffered two contacts that caused an accident, forcing him to retire from the race.
“We managed a second place in the first race, which was important for the championship. It’s always good to get on the podium and I thank the team, who gave me a very good car. In the second race, I had made a double overtake when I suffered a contact that ended my race. It’s a shame, but we will keep our heads up, as we remain strong in the championship fight,” said Gabriel Casagrande, who is sponsored by Baterias Júpiter, Axalta, OnPetro, STP, Cresol, RP Info, UFI Filters, Chevrolet, and OMP.

After the Velocitta round, Gabriel Casagrande is in third place in the championship, with 109 points, just ten behind the leader in the standings.
