Brazilian driver making his debut season in Formula 3, Pedro Clerot won for the first time in the category this Saturday (12), in the first of the two main races of the final stage of the championship, held at Madring, a circuit located in Madrid, Spain. The owner of car number 17 from Rodin Motorsport started from second position and took the lead in the very first meters, never being threatened again and winning after 19 laps.

Clerot had already shone on Friday, when he secured second place on the grid for this Saturday’s main race and third place for the start of Sunday’s race. After a Sprint in which he crossed the finish line in 11th position, the Brazilian dominated this afternoon’s race, becoming the first driver with experience in F4 Brazil to win a race in Formula 3.
“I have no words to describe what I am feeling right now. We knew everything would depend on the start and, together with the team, we devised a very good plan. We made the necessary changes compared to this morning’s race and simply maximized everything within our reach. It was a somewhat confusing race, I’m glad everyone is okay after the accident; obviously, I managed to control myself a bit and then went full throttle until the end. I am very happy to achieve the victory and I think we really deserved it,” said Clerot after the race.
“We had some setbacks fighting for the win in Spa, it could have been in Monza, leading the race, but we had the engine problem. At Red Bull Ring, another really strong weekend, with a second place in the Sprint and also fourth in the main race, but I knew it was a matter of time. We arrived at the weekend and realized very quickly that we had the pace to fight for the win. I let the team do their job with the car, and they did it, while I did my job on the track, which I think is the most important,” added Pedro Clerot, who is sponsored by Banco BRB.

The victory also represents the Brazilian’s fourth podium of the year. Besides the win in the Spanish capital, Clerot secured a second place in Austria and two third places, achieved in Monaco and Belgium. The first place at Madring places the driver in seventh position in the championship, totaling 73 points after Saturday’s races.
Formula 3 concludes the 2026 season this Sunday (13) with another race, scheduled for 4:45 AM. F1TV broadcasts the race live.
