The championship went through a long break during the month of April without races. However, the Dutchman remained very active racing at Nordschleife and also participating in a filming day with the Austrian team at the British track.

“It’s very good to be back in the car after a short break. Even though it was a filming day, it’s great to see everyone’s face. It’s always good to be back with the team and get used to the speed of the F1 car again before going to Miami, so in that sense, it was a good day for me,” he said.
“I know we had quite a long break, but it wasn’t really a break because the team worked hard to understand what we can do to improve the car. I’m very excited to see what we can do in Miami and I hope we can get a little closer to the top three teams,” he added.
