The family of four-time Formula 1 world champion Max Verstappen has gained a new member, this time with four legs. Victoria Verstappen, sister of the Red Bull Racing driver, stated that the Dachshund puppy, Joe, has already arrived at the new home.

At the end of August, Victoria had announced that the family was about to receive a dog, but had not yet revealed the name or officially confirmed the breed. Now, images shared by her show that the puppy is a dachshund and is named Joe.

In an Instagram post, Victoria appeared inside the car with the dog next to her mother, Sophie Kumpen. Introducing the new member, she wrote: “We brought our dog home. This is Joe, the new member of our family. We are already completely in love with him. Welcome home, little Joe!”
After the arrival, the puppy seems to have quickly adapted to the new environment. Victoria posted several videos of Joe running around the house, while her children also had immediate contact with the dog and appear playing with him.

Victoria has three children with her husband, Tom Heuts, Luka, Lio, and Hailey. With Joe’s arrival, the family now has one more member, something she had been eagerly awaiting since the previous announcement.

At the time, Victoria had shared her excitement about the arrival of the animal: “We are getting a dog soon. I am very excited and maybe a little nervous, but we really can’t wait.” Now, the wait is over, and Joe is officially part of the Verstappen family’s routine.
