Max Verstappen was voted driver of the day at the Formula 1 Australian GP. It turns out that upon receiving the news last Sunday (8), the driver had a comical reaction to the fact.

In Melbourne, the Red Bull driver had to start from 20th place after crashing in Q1 of qualifying and not setting a time. However, over the 58 laps, he moved up through the field and crossed the finish line in sixth position, behind two Mercedes, two Ferraris and Lando Norris.
The vote at the end of the day declared that the four-time Formula 1 champion was the big name of the race – the Driver of the Day vote is cast by viewers and fans.
