In 14 races held so far, the Italian has stood on the top step of the podium eight times. With that, he holds a modest lead of 81 points over teammate George Russell, while Lewis Hamilton, third, is 101 points behind.
When asked if he has any advice for the 20-year-old driver, the four-time F1 world champion said, “Kimi just needs to keep doing what he’s doing. It’s fantastic, it’s working very well. He shouldn’t stress too much about it, and I don’t think he is,” he said.

“He is delivering results, he is confident and gaining more and more experience. He is still young, at the start of his career, but he is flying under the radar, and things are flowing well. So, he shouldn’t complicate things. And he isn’t doing that. He has many competent people around him who know what he needs. So, everything is working well,” he continued.
