Formula 1 returns next weekend with the Canadian GP, and the FIA has already confirmed the full schedule of official interviews in Montreal. Lewis Hamilton will be one of the main highlights of the press conferences, especially after his decision to change his preparation for the Canadian stage.

The seven-time champion will participate in the first interview session on Thursday alongside Lance Stroll and Valtteri Bottas. Hamilton arrives in Canada after showing dissatisfaction with the result obtained in Miami, even with Ferrari occupying second place in the constructors’ championship.
Hamilton chose not to use the simulator during the break between Miami and Montreal. The justification came after his best result of the season happened precisely at the Chinese GP, a stage in which he also did not train on the simulator before the weekend.
The Briton achieved his first podium with Ferrari in Shanghai, and now bets on repeating the approach to try to improve performance in Canada. Bottas, who returned to the grid in 2026 with Cadillac, will meet again at the press conference his former teammate from the Mercedes days, a partnership that lasted from 2017 to 2021.

Lance Stroll is another confirmed name for the first press conference, being the only Canadian driver on the current grid. Racing at home for Aston Martin, the driver will even have a grandstand dedicated especially to his fans during the weekend in Montreal.
In the second interview session this Thursday (21), George Russell will be accompanied by Pierre Gasly and Arvid Lindblad. Russell won the Canadian GP in 2025 and seeks to reduce the championship gap to his teammate, Kimi Antonelli, after missing the podium in the last two races of the season.
The FIA also confirmed the presence of team representatives on Friday. Andrea Stella will participate in the press conference alongside Laurent Mekies and Alan Permane. The official schedule also includes interviews after the Sprint race and the qualifying session, both on Saturday, and after the GP on Sunday, with the top three finishers in each session.
