Oscar Piastri spoke about his battle with Lando Norris at the end of the Formula 1 Italian GP, saying it was a good fight with his teammate.

The Australian qualified third in Monza but started sixth after a penalty. However, he managed to advance during the race and was trying to snatch a podium in fourth place in the pack.

It turns out that in the final laps, Norris managed to overtake him and, with that, he had to settle for fifth place. Oscar thought he could fight to regain the position, but the chance never came. “Yeah, it was a good battle,” he said.

“There was a lot of position swapping and, on the last lap, you never really know exactly what to do with the energy. I think we adopted different strategies in this regard; he managed to pass and I thought I would have a chance to recover the position,” he continued.
“But, in the end, I couldn’t get there. So, yeah, there’s always a certain amount of risk with these cars. But, for sure, I already know what I would do differently next time,” he added.
