Four-time Formula 1 world champion Max Verstappen may compete in the NASCAR Cup Series, a traditional North American championship, in the future. Trackhouse Racing owner Justin Marks revealed that the Dutch driver has already shown interest in competing in the category and that conversations about the matter have already taken place.

During his participation in the program SPEED with Harvick and Buxton, Marks stated that the topic was discussed through the partnership with Red Bull. Although he recognizes that the change is difficult to happen at this moment, he did not rule out this possibility for the coming years.
“It is definitely on his radar. Through the Red Bull network, we have already had these discussions. He is eager to try different racing styles. It may be complicated now, but I wouldn’t rule it out for the future.”

Verstappen’s interest in other categories has become evident more recently. The Dutchman has competed in several GT races, including the traditional 24 Hours of Nürburgring this year, where he came close to a victory before retiring from the race due to technical problems.
