The Briton had a very complicated first year with Ferrari in 2025, failing to extract the maximum from a problematic SF-25 and ending the year without podiums. However, in 2026, the scenario changed and already in the second stage of the calendar, in China, he crossed the finish line in third place.

“He is refreshed. Ferrari did a fabulous job over the winter. They are close, Mercedes is ahead and McLaren will also be there. But I think when they [F1 and FIA] adjust the regulations, and when we get to Silverstone, I think it will be very balanced,” he continued.
“And I’m rooting for an epic race. There are a number of… six or seven drivers who can win, which is great,” he concluded.
