“It was a really exciting race, with many battles. These new cars are very fun to drive, everything depends on tactics and energy management, and you can play with that to overcome competitors,” stated Leclerc.

He also acknowledged the strong performance of his Ferrari teammate, Lewis Hamilton: “Lewis was strong throughout the entire weekend, so it’s no surprise that he finished in P3, he deserves it. We had some great battles, and I’m sure we will continue to see battles like this throughout the year.”
