Lewis Hamilton finished the Formula 1 Chinese GP in third position, highlighting the intensity of the race and celebrating the historic result of Mercedes’ Kimi Antonelli, who achieved his first victory in the category.

“Huge congratulations to Kimi, I am very happy to share this moment and the podium with him. Overall, it was a very positive weekend for us, we learned a lot and improved how we optimize the car,” Hamilton stated.
The British driver highlighted the excitement of the on-track battles: “Today was one of the most enjoyable races I’ve had in years, with hard but fair battles, especially with Charles (Leclerc, his Ferrari teammate). Competing in front of this fantastic crowd made everything even more special.”

Hamilton also commented on the Scuderia’s progress and the focus on the future: “We still have work to do, but we are on the right track, and I am immensely grateful to everyone in Maranello as we continue fighting to challenge Mercedes even more in the coming weeks,” he added.
The result reinforces Ferrari’s recovery and puts Hamilton and the team in a position to continue pushing the championship leaders, Mercedes.
