Kelly Piquet shared moments of her trip to the United States on social media, while Max Verstappen was in action outside of Formula 1. The Brazilian traveled accompanied by her daughter, Penelope, during the weekend.

The trip happened while Verstappen was competing in Germany with his GT3 team. The driver participated in the qualifiers for the Nurburgring 24 Hours, while his partner explored American cities.
Kelly published several photos of the trip, which included travel between New York and Los Angeles. In the caption, the Brazilian summarized the experience by writing: “From west coast to east coast”, indicating the route between the two regions.

Meanwhile, Verstappen was competing in the race on the iconic Nordschleife-Nurburgring circuit, over 20 km long, and even led on Sunday. However, a technical problem prevented the Dutchman from achieving victory alongside his teammate, Austrian Lucas Auer.
Kelly’s trip occurred in parallel with Verstappen’s participation in the endurance event, marking a weekend with different schedules for the couple. Even on different continents, both shared their activities with fans through social media.
