Last Sunday, Kelly Piquet shared a special message on social media to celebrate Mother’s Day. Max Verstappen’s partner posted photos alongside her daughters Penelope and Lily, as well as recalling recent moments experienced during the Miami GP weekend of Formula 1.
In the post made on Instagram stories, Kelly appeared sitting with her two daughters and wrote a message highlighting the importance of motherhood in her life. The Brazilian also took the opportunity to honor her own mother: “Happy Mother’s Day to all the moms out there. Being the mother of my two girls is my greatest achievement,” Kelly wrote. In another image, she shared an old photo of her mother when she was young and added: “And happy Mother’s Day especially to my mom!”
Besides the family tributes, Kelly also posted a summary of the best moments of her time in Miami. The influencer was present at the circuit to support Verstappen during the Formula 1 stage held in Florida.
According to some posts, the Brazilian was not alone during the trip to the United States. She was also accompanied by Victoria Verstappen, the four-time champion’s sister, and by Sophie Kumpen, the Red Bull Racing driver’s mother.
After the Miami GP, Kelly and Verstappen were also seen together enjoying days of rest in St. Barths, a French island located in the Caribbean. The couple’s images circulated on social media after the conclusion of the American stage of Formula 1.
Kelly usually accompanies Verstappen to various commitments throughout the season and frequently shares behind-the-scenes moments of the couple’s routine during race weekends. This time, however, the focus of the posts was on the family celebration of Mother’s Day.
The post quickly resonated among the Brazilian’s followers, especially due to the presence of daughters Penelope and Lily in the shared photos. The message also marked a more personal moment for Kelly amid the busy Formula 1 calendar.
