Nico Hülkenberg hopes to continue a positive momentum at the Belgian Grand Prix of Formula 1 this weekend, pointing out that he believes he can achieve a solid result at Spa-Francorchamps.

At the last round of the calendar, in Silverstone, the German was unable to cross the finish line, being forced to retire with gearbox problems – on the other hand, Gabriel Bortoleto finished in the points zone.
Therefore, for the tenth round of the F1 season, Nico wants to leave the bad luck in England behind and hopes to fight at Spa for a more positive result. “Retiring early from the race in Silverstone due to a gearbox problem was hard to accept, especially because we were in a position to fight for points before we had to retire,” he said.

“On the positive side, our pace has been evolving in the right direction in recent races. We have consistently been fighting for positions at the front of the midfield pack, and we want to take advantage of this momentum. Now the focus is Spa, one of the classic races on the calendar, and I am looking forward to returning to the track. If we manage to have a clean weekend, we will have the best chances to achieve a solid result,” he added.
