Lewis Hamilton was not completely satisfied with the qualifying result of the Spanish Grand Prix of Formula 1 this Saturday (12). The Brit even praised Ferrari’s performance but pointed out that it did not end as expected.

The Brit was in good rhythm during the weekend and in the timed session, he even took the provisional pole position. However, he ended up only in fourth place on the grid in Madrid.
Summing up the session, he then pointed out that “although the session did not end exactly with the result we wanted, the overall performance was solid. The car behaved well all the time.”

“My first lap in Q3 was strong, but things didn’t come together perfectly on the last attempt, which cost us some positions. Fourth place does not reflect where I believe we could have reached, but there are positives to be taken from the session. It is an excellent circuit to drive, and tomorrow the focus will be on consistency and tire management,” he continued.
“Degradation can be a decisive factor, so the goal will be to execute the work well and make the most of every opportunity during the race,” he concluded.
