Lewis Hamilton once again showed a deep and emotional connection with his brother. Over the weekend, the seven-time Formula 1 champion paid a beautiful tribute after Nicolas achieved his first podium in motorsport.

While the Briton achieved his best result with Ferrari by finishing second at the Canadian GP, Nicolas won the Jack Sears Trophy at Snetterton in the British Touring Car Championship – in the event, driving a Hyundai, he scored good points in all three races to take the prize home, as well as finishing in the top 3 for the first time.
In an Instagram post, Lewis wrote that “I couldn’t be prouder of my brother Nicolas Hamilton. Seeing the passion and emotion on his face as he stepped onto the podium for the first time was a beautiful moment. For both of us to be on the podium on the same day was incredible. I called him as soon as the race ended.

Despite this, despite the barriers and the people who said it wasn’t possible, he never gave up. He fought. He adapted. He proved them wrong.
“Although he will always be my little brother, I am immensely proud of the leader, the athlete, and the man he has become. He inspires me as much as he inspires everyone who follows his journey. No matter how hard it has been, he never gave up. What he has achieved is huge and I am very happy for him. Love you, brother, keep it up.”
