Founded by the seven-time world champion, the organization aims to create more inclusive opportunities for young people, especially in the areas of education, technology, engineering, mathematics, and motorsport. The partnership will allow sixty young people to participate in the Festival of Speed and have direct contact with professionals and experiences in the sector.

Besides closely following the event, participants will be able to better understand career possibilities related to motorsport and STEM fields. Mission 44’s proposal is precisely to reduce access barriers for young people who usually face difficulties entering these segments.

The founder of the Festival of Speed, Duke of Richmond, highlighted the importance of the work developed by Hamilton’s institution: “The Festival of Speed has always sought to inspire the next generation. We are proud to support Mission 44 in breaking down the significant barriers that still exist for many people. I hope visitors enjoy the contact with the institution as part of the pursuit of a fairer and more inclusive future,” he said.

Jason Arthur, CEO of Mission 44, also emphasized the importance of the initiative and pointed out that opportunities are still not accessible to all young people: “Talent exists everywhere, but opportunity does not, and that is what motivates our work at Mission 44,” he said.

Arthur explained that the organization funds programs, offers scholarships, and promotes campaigns to expand access to motorsport and technological areas: “Every young person deserves the chance to take the first step towards a future in motorsport and STEM fields, where access has often been limited,” he concluded.

During the event, visitors will be able to learn more details about Mission 44’s projects in a space set up in the new Fan Zone of the Festival of Speed. The institution will also hold panels and live talks on the event’s main stage.

Fans will also have the opportunity to discover ways to participate in the initiatives or financially contribute to the organization created by Hamilton: “We are proud to be named official charity partners of the 2026 Festival of Speed, an event with enormous capacity to inspire the next generation. Working together, we can open doors for young people and show that there is a place for them in these industries,” Arthur concluded.
