According to Jones, Hamilton sent a long message criticizing the way the hunt was conducted before unfollowing and blocking him: “But Lewis saw me shooting the pig from the helicopter, and he wrote me a long message saying I was a coward. And that he thought I was better than that, and said that the traditional way to kill animals should be with a spear or with bow and arrow.”

Jones also said that Hamilton considered the practice an act of cowardice, stating that animals should at least have a chance to react. The former fighter said he was disappointed with the driver’s attitude, as he was a fan: “He was saying like, ‘only a coward would shoot an animal from a helicopter. Give the animal at least a chance to fight back.’ He unfollowed me and blocked me. And it was crap because I was a fan of his. I was a fan of his, but he was very disappointed with me because of the shot.”
