Formula 1 will have another important change on the grid for the 2026 Miami GP. Isack Hadjar will not start from his original position and will begin the race directly from the pit lane.

The decision impacts Red Bull’s performance in the race, especially after a weekend already marked by technical problems with the French driver’s car.
Hadjar had secured ninth place in qualifying and would have started from the fifth row. However, his car did not pass the FIA legality checks, which resulted in his disqualification from the session.
Initially, the team received authorization for the driver to start from the back of the grid. However, the situation worsened after Red Bull made changes to the car’s power unit.

With the replacement of the energy store and control electronics after qualifying, Hadjar lost the right to start on the grid. Thus, he will start from the end of the pit lane in Sunday’s race.
Meanwhile, his teammate, Max Verstappen, keeps his position and will start in second place.
