The FIA has confirmed the official starting grid for the 2026 Italian GP of Formula 1, with Pierre Gasly on pole position and significant changes at the back of the pack. Fernando Alonso and Liam Lawson will start the race from the pit lane in Monza.

Gasly shares the front row with George Russell. Right behind are Charles Leclerc and Lewis Hamilton, placing the two Ferrari cars on the second row, while Max Verstappen starts fifth and Oscar Piastri sixth.

Gabriel Bortoleto starts the race in tenth position with Audi. The Brazilian starts just behind Arvid Lindblad of Racing Bulls, while Oliver Bearman and Nico Hülkenberg appear immediately after, in 11th and 12th.
Kimi Antonelli, who received a penalty for using additional power unit components, appears in 19th. Alexander Albon completes the grid positions in 20th.

Alonso and Lawson will not occupy positions on the starting grid. Both will start from the pit lane after changes were made to their cars before the race.
