Ferrari is under FIA scrutiny at the Belgian Grand Prix in Formula 1 after failing to comply with a regulatory procedure between FP1 and FP2 at Spa-Francorchamps. The case was referred to the stewards, who will analyze the situation and decide if there will be any punishment for the team.

After FP1, the team electronically registered the return of two sets of dry-weather tires from Charles Leclerc and Lewis Hamilton. However, the compounds were not physically delivered to the official supplier before the start of the second session, which constitutes a violation of article B6.4.2 of the regulations.
While awaiting the decision from the governing body, the team had different performances in the second practice session. The Briton was the highlight of the Italian team by finishing fourth, maintaining the good pace shown earlier. Meanwhile, the Monegasque struggled to keep up with his teammate and ended the session only in 11th place.

FP2 was interrupted twice during the afternoon. The first red flag occurred in the initial minutes after gravel spread across the track. The second stoppage came after Pierre Gasly’s heavy crash, when the Alpine driver lost his rear wing on impact with the barriers and was stranded on the circuit.
At the top of the timing sheet, Kimi Antonelli led the session with a time of 1min45.944, ahead of Lando Norris and Max Verstappen. Racing Bulls maintained their good form by placing Arvid Lindblad and Liam Lawson among the top ten, while Aston Martin struggled again, with both cars finishing more than five seconds behind the best lap.
