Kevin Estre praised Max Verstappen after the four-time Formula 1 champion’s debut at the 24 Hours of Nürburgring. The driver commented on how the Dutchman proved to be an ‘incredible competitor’ who quickly adapted to the conditions.

Estre is a Porsche regular and was the 2024 World Endurance Champion. However, in last weekend’s race, he was forced to retire early after crashing his Porsche 911 GT3 R.
It turns out Verstappen did not have a similar outcome, as he did not see the checkered flag after having to retire from the race due to mechanical problems in the final hours, despite leading much of the event.

But despite not crossing the finish line, Estre highly praised the Red Bull F1 driver. “So, back home a little earlier than planned. Congratulations to the winners, they made a great comeback,” he said on his Instagram.
“Much respect also for car #3, I feel very sorry for them. They had a great race, and Max definitely proved he is an incredible driver and can quickly adapt to very difficult conditions, but Nürburgring also chooses its winners, and it is a tough choice, as we know,” he added.
