The Circuit of the Americas is offering a new type of ticket for the 2026 Formula 1 GP, giving fans early access during the race weekend.

The Austin circuit announced the Grand PrixView Thursday experience, which allows enthusiasts to enter the racetrack earlier than the traditional three-day pass valid for Friday, Saturday, and Sunday.
The ticket costs $20 [about R$100] and allows fans to enter COTA on Thursday of the race weekend for the first time in the history of the race. Also, those who purchase the ticket can walk the F1 pit lane, watch F1 Academy activities, and visit the women’s category paddock, as well as explore the fan village, merchandise shops, and the Fan Zone.
The COTA theme park will also be open throughout the day, providing another attraction for those who enter earlier in the week. Other GPs on the Formula 1 calendar offering a similar experience to fans are Australia and Abu Dhabi.
Bobby Epstein, president and founder of COTA, highlighted that this additional experience was created to bring fans closer to the sport. “We are always looking for ways to make F1 more accessible,” he said.
“Thursday’s ‘Grand PrixView’ is like an open house event for the Central Texas community. For just 20 dollars, you can come, get very close to F1, and see all this excitement up close,” he added.
