Formula 1 defined this Saturday the provisional starting grid for the 2026 Monaco GP, the sixth round of the season. Kimi Antonelli secured pole position for Mercedes and will share the front row with Max Verstappen, from Red Bull.

The second row will be formed by the Ferrari drivers. Lewis Hamilton starts in third, just ahead of Charles Leclerc, while Isack Hadjar completes the group of the top five on the grid on the streets of Monte Carlo.
Among the championship leaders, George Russell starts from sixth position. McLaren drivers, Oscar Piastri and Lando Norris, will face a recovery race after securing only seventh and eighth places, respectively.

Brazilian Gabriel Bortoleto took 16th place on the provisional grid for Audi. His teammate, Nico Hülkenberg, starts in 13th. Fernando Alonso and Lance Stroll, from Aston Martin, occupy the last row of the grid.
