Gabriel Bortoleto finished satisfied with the Sprint qualifying for the Dutch GP of Formula 1. This Friday (21), after reaching SQ3, the Brazilian celebrated the good result and now focuses on the race.

Zandvoort is the stage for the return of the 2026 season after the summer break. Right at the start of activities, the Audi driver was showing good performance and in the only TL managed to place himself inside the top-10 at the end.

In the Sprint qualifying, then, he reached the final phase and secured ninth position, starting from the fifth row on the Dutch track. “I am happy with today. I think coming back from the summer break here is never easy because many times you have to get back into rhythm, you have to come back with everything up high, giving our best,” he said to SporTV after the session.

“I think this weekend has been positive so far, in the first practice I was there, missing a few little things, we managed to improve for qualifying, we delivered a great result,” he continued.
“And tomorrow it’s that, go to the race, try to score at least one point in the Sprint and go to the main qualifying and try to deliver a good result there too,” he concluded.
