Gabriel Bortoleto finished Friday (11) of training for the Formula 1 Spanish GP in 11th position in FP1 and 13th in FP2. In his first contact with the Madring, the Brazilian from Audi completed 52 laps over the two sessions and took advantage of the day to get to know the characteristics of the new circuit.

Bortoleto highlighted the feeling of finally having driven on the Madrid track. The layout caught the Brazilian’s attention during the first training sessions, which also served to gather information about the behavior of the Audi car: “It was great to finally have a first feel of the Madring. Overall, it was a positive day for us: we learned a lot over the two sessions, although there is still some work to do overnight to try to extract a bit more pace from our car,” he said.
