The case directly affects the Brazilian’s result and marks a difficult day for Audi, which had already faced problems even before the start.
Bortoleto crossed the finish line in 11th position, but the car was analyzed in the post-race technical inspection. The stewards found a value above the allowed limit in the engine air intake pressure, which exceeded the regulatory limit of 4.8 bar.
This type of infraction usually results in direct disqualification, which could remove the driver from the final Sprint result. The official decision still depends on FIA confirmation after a complete analysis of the case.

The negative scenario for the team began before the race, when Nico Hülkenberg had a failure with flames on the car on the way to the grid and could not start. As a result, all responsibility fell on Bortoleto during the race.
If the penalty is confirmed, Audi ends the Sprint without a valid result, after a weekend that was already presenting difficulties.
