The second free practice session of Formula 1 for the Spanish GP, held this Friday (11), was another opportunity for Gabriel Bortoleto to get to know the Madring track, a new circuit in the city of Madrid. The Brazilian started the session with medium tires, reached seventh position at one point, and finished FP2 in 13th place with a time of 1min35s170. Check out how the session went:

Bortoleto started the session on medium tires, leaving the pits within the first few minutes. His first fast lap was 1min36s931, placing him seventh at that moment.

On his second attempt, the Brazilian showed improvements in the second sector but lost the rear of the car and returned to the pits to adjust the rear wing and try to fix the problem. The next attempt was 1min36s153.

Bortoleto continued on track and improved to 1min35s779, returning to the top-10 of the session.

After completing 11 laps, the Brazilian returned to the pits.

Audi released Gabriel in the second half of the session, this time on soft tires. The first lap was 1min35s170.
Then, the red flag was shown and the session was interrupted after Arvid Lindblad from Racing Bulls crashed.
The session resumed and Bortoleto went back on track with medium tires. He did a series of laps that lasted until the timer ran out, finishing with the time he set on soft tires, in 13th place.
