Gabriel Bortoleto finished seventh on the time sheet in the final free practice session of the Monaco F1 Grand Prix. In the session held early this Saturday (6), the Brazilian clocked 1min13s820 to once again place himself within the top-10.

The weather remained as it was on Friday, blue sky with some clouds and mild temperatures. The thermometer read 23ºC and the asphalt around 32ºC, with humidity at 56%.
As the last activity before qualifying in the Principality began, Bortoleto opted to start the practice with soft tires. When he completed his second fast lap, he placed himself fourth, 0s9 behind Lewis Hamilton, who was first.
As the practice unfolded in Monte Carlo, the Brazilian from Audi managed to further improve his time. With 1min14s129, the competitor managed to jump to sixth, appearing ahead of names like Isack Hadjar, Lando Norris, and Max Verstappen, but still with plenty of time for things to change.
Unlike Friday, the session in Monaco was calmer with no major incidents, yellow or red flags. After half of the activity, Gabriel remained at the top of the table, holding eighth place – Nico Hülkenberg was tenth.
But that didn’t last long, as about ten minutes later, a red flag was deployed. The reason was a crash by Oliver Bearman at the Casino, but the Brit quickly came on the radio to say he was fine.

At this moment, the Brazilian from Audi was in seventh position with a time of 1min13s820, 0s7 behind Kimi Antonelli, who was in first place.
The pit lane was opened with just under 4 minutes remaining in the practice. The drivers will not have much time to do many things on track.
When Gabriel left the Audi garage, his engineer came on the radio to tell the competitor that he needed to be fast right on the out lap.
Practice ended and Bortoleto finished the third free practice session of the Monaco F1 Grand Prix in seventh place. Qualifying takes place later this Saturday, 6, at 11 am Brasília time.
