This weekend Matheus Comparatto returns to race in the Porsche Carrera Cup Brazil championship, at the Interlagos stage. The Shell driver arrives motivated after finishing on the podium in two of the three races held in Algarve, Portugal.

The 2024 F4 Brazil champion returns to the venue where he has already achieved podiums in the Porsche Cup and the title of Brazil’s main single-seater category. The stage in the São Paulo capital marks the beginning of a decisive phase of the sprint racing season, as it is the penultimate round of the competition.
Comparatto is seventh in the short race championship standings and a good result on the 4,309-meter, 12-turn Interlagos track could place the driver among the top three, so this stage is very important for the plans of the Shell Porsche #118 driver. In the Endurance championship, Comparatto, who competes alongside Felipe Baptista, is the runner-up in the competition.
With 38 competitors registered, the Carrera grid is the largest in the category and, being the penultimate stage of the championship, the rule of two qualifying sessions and two races with full points, without grid inversion for race 2, is already in effect.

The schedule for the seventh stage of the Porsche Cup begins on Friday with optional practice sessions and one free practice. On Saturday, two qualifying sessions and the first race will be held.
On Sunday, the drivers return to the Interlagos circuit for the second race. The races will be broadcast live by Band, Bandsports, and the category’s digital media.
