This Friday Matheus Comparatto secured fifth place in the Porsche Cup free practice at Interlagos. The 19-year-old driver is competing in his second season in the category and is seeking his first title in touring cars.

The driver, who is sponsored by Shell, Randstad, Blue Dog and Act Digital, was fourth in the sprint championship, Endurance runner-up, third overall in 2025 and is seeking his first title in touring cars. Comparatto’s resume includes the 2024 Brazilian Formula 4 champion title.
Friday in Interlagos began in the morning with optional practice sessions. In the afternoon, the first official activity of the round took place and Matheus Comparatto positioned himself in fifth place, even after being hindered on his best lap.
This Saturday, the driver returns to the 3,409-meter track in the São Paulo capital for qualifying and race 1. On Sunday, the race that closes the round will be held.

“It was a good practice, we had a great pace, I was hindered on my best lap, but I think the car is great. We put on a new tire to test the qualifying condition and I am confident we will have a good performance tomorrow.”
