Gabriel Bortoleto evaluated his evolution in Formula 1 and the start of his second year on the grid. Defending Audi in the 2026 season, the Brazilian sees himself as more relaxed and enjoying himself more on track.

The competitor made his debut in the category in 2025 defending Sauber, scoring points on five occasions and having a sixth-place finish as his best result. Now, with the German team absorbing the Swiss team for this year, Gabriel sees himself as even more part of the project – and already starting on the right foot by finishing ninth in the opening race in Australia.
“The way I’m dealing with things now, also the understanding of how I want to approach my weekends, how I’m working with the team, knowing these people for two years now, is something completely different,” he highlighted.

“I feel much more relaxed, more committed to the project in some way, which is finally becoming a reality: being part of Audi. And yes, I’m probably enjoying it much more now than I was at this same time last year. I hope we can continue like this,” he added.
