Bassani advances seven positions and finishes in the top 10 in the Porsche Cup at Interlagos

This Sunday Antonella Bassani competed in the second race of the first stage of the Porsche Carrera Cup, in Interlagos, finishing in the top 10 after a good recovery race. The driver of car #72 advanced seven positions in a busy race in the capital of São Paulo.

Starting from 17th place on the grid, Antonella had a good start to the race, advancing three positions on the first lap. In the following laps, the Mobil driver showed good pace and appeared in 12th place.

The race featured many battles and Antonella Bassani took advantage of the opportunities that arose in the final stretch of the race to take the checkered flag in tenth position.

“It was a cool and even good day. Starting further back after the penalty, we did what we could in the race, catching up and passing. In the end, the tire we used got too worn, making it a bit more difficult. But eight positions gained and a lot of learning in today’s race, both in overtaking and defending position.”
