Rookie driver in his first Formula 3 season in 2026, Pedro Clerot had a good performance in the qualifying session held this Friday (17) at the Spa-Francorchamps circuit in Belgium. The Brazilian from the Rodin Motorsport team will start in sixth position for the Sprint race and secured seventh place for the main race, scheduled for Sunday.

Clerot was always among the fastest in qualifying, even leading the timing chart at one point. With just under ten minutes remaining in the session, an accident involving drivers trying to warm up their tires for a flying lap ended the session early. The Brazilian finished with the seventh-best time.
“We finished qualifying in seventh position. It was a very messy session and I’m happy to have managed a good lap. Tomorrow, in the Sprint, we will start from sixth place. So, let’s push forward for the rest of the weekend,” said Pedro Clerot, who is sponsored by Banco BRB.

After qualifying, Clerot moves on to the Sprint, scheduled for 5 a.m. this Saturday (18). The main race is set for Sunday, starting at 3:30 a.m. F1TV will broadcast both races live.
