Nikola Tsolov is the new leader of the Formula 2 championship after the seventh round of the championship. The Bulgarian won both races this weekend at the Silverstone circuit in England, surpassed Gabriele Mini in the standings, and now has 141 points at the halfway point of the year in the category that leads to Formula 1.

Mini now occupies second place in the championship, with 116 points after seven of the 14 rounds contested. Rafael Câmara, a Brazilian who races for Invicta Racing, is third with 94 points, two more than Alexander Dunne, fourth with 92. The top five group also includes Noel León, with 69. Emmo Fittipaldi is 20th with ten points.
The next round of Formula 2 will be held in two weeks, when the category visits the Spa-Francorchamps circuit in Belgium.
