Nikola Tsolov won on Sunday (5) the main race of the seventh round of the 2026 Formula 2 season, held at the Silverstone circuit in England. The Campos Racing driver overtook Kush Maini with ten laps remaining and took the lead definitively with four laps to go, at the moment Oliver Goethe made his pit stop, triumphing and securing the weekend “sweep,” having won the Sprint on Saturday.

Second place went to Rafael Villagómez, a Van Amersfoort driver who bet on a strategy of starting on hard tires and finishing the race on soft compounds. Maini, with ART Grand Prix, was third after leading the entire early part of the race. Alexander Dunne, from Rodin Motorsport, was fourth, followed by Rafael Câmara, fifth with Invicta Racing after starting from pole position.
Gabriele Mini, with an MP Motorsport car, finished the race in sixth position after betting on the same strategy as Villagómez. Noel León, from Campos Racing, was seventh, followed by Roman Bilinski, eighth with DAMS. Joshua Durksen, from Invicta Racing, was ninth, while Tasanapol Inthraphuvasak completed the points zone by finishing tenth with ART Grand Prix. Emmo Fittipaldi finished the race in 20th with AIX Racing.

After the England round, Tsolov takes the isolated lead of the Formula 2 championship, totaling 141 points, against 124 of now vice-leader Mini. Câmara appears in third place in the standings, now totaling 94 points. Closing the top 5 in the classification are Dunne, with 92, and León, with 69 points.
The next round of Formula 2 is scheduled between July 17 and 19, at Spa-Francorchamps, Belgium.
