Audi faced a complicated and uncompetitive stint in Montreal. The Brazilian did not come close to the points zone either in the Sprint race, where he was 13th, or in this Sunday’s race, the 24th, where he also finished in 13th place.
Therefore, when giving an interview to SporTV after the race, he showed frustration with how the weekend unfolded and with the complicated GP after a decision to start on intermediate tires. “I think I’m upset for not having fought for points this weekend,” he said.

“It’s a shame because I think today’s race, maybe if we hadn’t started on intermediate tires, which we thought was right because it was raining at the start and stopped raining very quickly. And it wasn’t worth it, there’s not much to say,” he continued.
“Then we were racing Nico [Hülkenberg] and I kind of alone on the track, I was 5 seconds behind him because we had to make the double stop. And we stayed there, it kind of ended in that situation,” he concluded.
