Gabriel Bortoleto would like the rain forecast for the Canadian GP of Formula 1 to come true this Sunday (24). However, he also thinks it would not be negative to see all the points to be improved in wet conditions.

In qualifying for this race in Montreal, the competitor did not have one of the most competitive sessions. In the end, he secured the seventh row and will line up in 13th place, without advancing to Q3 – in the Sprint race, he finished 12th.
When asked about the possibility of rain at the Circuit Gilles Villeneuve and his opinion, the Audi driver told SporTV that “to be honest, since we have been struggling with our engine, rain would not be one of the best options for us.”

“We suffer a lot with our gearbox. I won’t go into technical detail, but we have done so many dry races already and maybe it would be good to try, expose some of the problems we have in the rain and understand what can be improved, as there is a long way ahead,” he added.
The Canadian GP of Formula 1 takes place this Sunday, the 24th, with the start at 5 pm Brasília time.
