Kimi Antonelli will ‘review’ his battle against George Russell during the Sprint race of the Formula 1 Canadian GP. The move that marked the race left the Italian quite dissatisfied, but he avoided talking about it after the checkered flag.

The Italian started from second place and after the first laps, tried to overtake his Mercedes teammate. However, the Brit squeezed him off the track to defend himself, provoking the anger of the 19-year-old competitor, who complained a lot on the radio.
The complaints were so many that Toto Wolff had to intervene and say not to keep complaining on the radio and that they would resolve it internally. Finishing third after being overtaken by Lando Norris, Antonelli said that “it was a tough battle, to be honest. We were there in terms of pace, but it wasn’t easy.”

“I tried to make my overtake, and I need to review that because I was already right alongside, and I ended up being pushed off, but it’s part of it,” he continued.
“Then, obviously, I made a mistake at turn 8 because I went over a big bump and locked the tires, and that ended up compromising my race from then on, but it was a good fight,” he added.
