Marco Bezzecchi remains the leader of the MotoGP championship after the Catalonia GP, the sixth round of the 2026 season, held this Sunday (17) at the Barcelona Circuit, Spain. The Aprilia rider finished fifth in this morning’s chaotic race, reaching 140 points.

The vice-leadership remains with Jorge Martín, who crashed in this Sunday’s race and stays with 127 points, 13 less than Bezzecchi. Fabio Di Giannantonio, winner in Barcelona, is third with 116, followed by Pedro Acosta, fourth with 92 points. Ai Ogura, with 76, appears in fifth place in the standings.
Raúl Fernández occupies sixth place in the championship with 68 points, one more than Álex Márquez, seventh with 67, who suffered a serious accident this Sunday. Francesco Bagnaia, with 60, is eighth, followed by Marc Márquez, ninth with 57 after not competing in this Sunday’s race. Fermín Aldeguer, with 43, closes the top 10. Diogo Moreira added six more points and is now 18th, with 16.
